Media Center Events

We have many events throughout the school year to promote the love of reading.  There are two book fairs each year that take place in the Media Center (coinciding with parent/teacher conferences, along with the year end Used Book Sale.  This gives many opportunities to find that perfect book!  These events are very important to the Media Center because they help support adding books to the collection.

Another event that is always popular is having authors and illustrators come to our school and talk about their craft.  The students are very attentive to what these presenters have to say.   We try to have at least two authors or illustrators come to our school each year.
